Doesnt work Error code 3860

This has so much potential wrist with one little fix. When browsing msn website and clicking into a story, there is a button that states “continue reading in the app” however when you click this button it takes you to the App Store even if you already have the app. This is painful. Please make the button route to the app. I would be so much more engaged if you fixed this one little thing.

When using msn, as I’m scrolling down, the app slows down and then locks up. Tried deleting app and reinstalling,but no luck. I really enjoy this app, but it’s just not working for me.

Some may beg to differ with me but this app seems to be almost a carbon copy of Microsoft’s Bing App which begs the question how many Microsoft apps do you need.

Bring back the browser version

Take the right left slant out of the news. “I think” isn’t news. Thanks

I continue to try to continue reading an article and it restarts me at App Store and then doesn’t open at the article. Useless function . I won’t waste my time any more.

Works well in organizing the news

Just horrendous. I want to read in my browser forces me to open the app and then it blows away the link and loses search

Why do I need an app to read an article!?

Why do I have to switch to the app to read the article and when I do it doesn’t take me to the article?

Navigation control frequently disappears and there’s no way to get them back without killing the app. The worst is opening a PDF file - it immediately goes full screen with no option to switch to another tab. There’s also no way to force the navigation buttons to stay on.

I can be using MSN website and then it forces you to the MSN app and does not take you to the story you were reading.

I love it, I switched from the Chrome homepage with news (but full of advertising) to this cleaner experience ❤️

I Austin Thies don’t believe I can give worse than a 1 so take this 1 star as a token of total worth in design, performance, personal experience, lacks information, is a shear image of all the apps nobody wants or uses. This is actually a 0 star review but I couldn’t just write a review it felt it needed a participation star so here it is. Just 1. More than I gave but msn you can demolish it for sure. Just start over. Forget it happened.

Why can I not get to an email article that says continue reading on app? All I get is an msn home page with no reference to article I was looking at

No content, videos will not stop playing, missing photos, and when you go to any link for research it takes you back to the Home Screen. This wouldn’t even make it as a good kids toy!

If you are going to force a user to get a full story from the app, when you click on “expand”, at least take a reader to the article they were reading.

What kind of company makes you download an app to read basic articles that they publish and advertise all over the web? These aren’t scholarly articles. How’d it take 15min to download? Why do they constantly recommend a personal data-stealing app on the internet? I’m only here to hate on this service and say that this is just another one of Microsoft’s services that is garbage. I hope Copilot on 365 is eradicated soon. This is all why Microsoft is worth $385 a share. I hope Bill is enjoying retirement.

Too many duplicate stories and not user friendly. Don’t get it.

Scrolling through and reading articles that are poorly written, I was forced to see several ads for Islamic relief and foreign aid services, but not one ad for hurricane or fire relief in the U.S. I haven’t been able to find a job for over a year and you advertise supporting foreign services. Obviously microsoft doesn’t Know their audience.

Terrible, maybe the worst app ever! If I could give a 0 star, I would.

It’s informative

I deleted the app after receiving targeted adds for things I only use outside of the application. I play piano, a topic I never read about nor searched in this app. However, I began receiving adds to purchase piano sheet music within the app. I don’t use social media because of this, and I don’t want other applications tracking my personal information.

Great app, I can get all my news information under one app!!!

If you like ads, this is the app for you. What a horrendous app

When reading articles in Safari, I only get a preview and the option to open remaining portion of the articles in the MSN app. I routinely (daily or more) have to uninstall the MSN app and reinstall to view articles in their entirety. Incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. Just allow view to read articles on web, it would be so much better. I shouldn’t have to open a second app just to view a full article.

MSN is up to its old tricks of showcasing the first few lines of an interesting article and then failing to allow us to read the entire article when clicking on its App. Way to go MSN!

Stopped the download from finishing when I saw home much of my info they’ll be able to see if I downloaded this app..I’ll just stick to the website.

Keep up the great way of presenting your news feed!

This issue happens every time there’s a new update. Whenever I try to click on a story online and select the option to view it in the app, I’m redirected to the App Store instead of the app itself. It’s quite frustrating, as it typically takes about three weeks for the problem to resolve itself on its own. I really hope the developers can address this to improve the overall experience.

I don’t want to open another app just to read something.

This is the most politically slanted news presentations I have ever seen! I am trying to delete this app!

Very shortly after downloading the app I would have a problem if I went to the site and clicked to go to the AppStore and then be instructed to “click” to open the app. It never took me to the articles. After a week of trying, I deleted the app.

So tired of being forced to read stories “on the App”. It’s intrusive and a waste of time.

Always have to reinstall for it to work properly

Have been having issues with this app as far back as November. The latest bug is any time I get a notification from the app (like a new article I’m interested in reading), I try to open it, and it just brings me to the home page. I try looking up the article in browser, but it forces me to open it in the app to continue reading. I wouldn’t mind doing so, but the problem is every time I click “continue reading in app,” it just brings me to the app store. The webpage I am redirected to reads “msn.mobilePrimary1 msn.mobilePrimary2 msn.mobileIntroduction.” Not sure if that helps the devs fix the problem, but I really would like to be able to read the news in browser at least and not be redirected to an app that doesn’t work.

If I’m reading a story in safari and click a link to read the rest, the app does not open the story. It only opens the front page of the app.
